An accompanist will be provided, as well as a CD player and hook up for mp3 players. Please bring music in your key. We do not allow any singing over pre-recorded vocal tracks or singing acapella. If you are auditioning for a specific role, please come to auditions familiar with song(s) the character you are auditioning for sings in the show. You may be asked to sing by yourself or with others something from the show.
Come prepared to learn a short dance routine to music from the show. Dress comfortably and bring appropriate footwear (character shoes, dance shoes, tennis shoes, etc). Flip-flops or bare feet are not acceptable (this is for your safety).
For those that are auditioning for a speaking role, you will be asked to read from the script. There’s no need to prepare a monologue. The selections from the script will be pre-determined by the director and you will be given time to review the selection before your reading.
