The Sound of Music Postponed Unit 2021
After careful consideration we have decided to postpone The Sound of Music until next year. There are several reasons why we decided to postpone the show. While we did receive over 35 audition videos, we were unable to fully cast the show from the auditions submitted. Secondly, our rehearsal space is currently closed and there is no indication of when it will reopen. Lastly, and most importantly, we simply could not jeopardize the safety and health of all those participating on and off stage and our audiences alike. This was not an easy decision to make, but we feel it is the right decision for September Song, those participating on and off stage and our audiences. On a positive note, we are pleased to announce that the same production team will be working on The Sound of Music in 2021. We plan to make an announcement once our new audition and show dates have been finalized. From all of us at September Song, we hope everybody has a safe, healthy and relaxing summer and remember …. our curtain will rise again! |
